Role Summary:
As a Customer Experience Ambassador at Birmingham Airport, you will be at the heart of our mission to deliver a smooth, safe, and enjoyable journey for every customer. Reporting to the Customer Experience Team Leader, you’ll support terminal operations, promote our corporate image, and uphold the highest standards of service and safety in a 24/7 environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional customer service across all key touchpoints throughout the terminal.• Assist with managing passenger flows through check-in, security, and immigration areas.• Monitor terminal cleanliness and facilities, escalating issues as required.• Respond to safety and emergency incidents, providing first aid support when necessary.• Actively resolve customer issues to minimise disruption to their journey.• Support the airport’s wider community, including Border Force and Ground Handlers.
Experience Required:
• Proven experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.• Ability to remain calm and professional during emergency or high-pressure situations.• Flexible to work varying shifts in a 24/7 operational setting.• Awareness of health, safety, and security protocols, with a willingness to complete all relevant training.• A team player who values diversity and contributes to an inclusive working environment.
